For the first time ever, the Apple TV app is available for owners of Amazon Fire TV devices, a sign that the streaming rivalry between the tech giants continues to cool.

Starting today, Amazon says Apple TV on Fire TV will be available in more than 60 countries, letting users watch all the shows and movies they’ve downloaded from Apple. And starting Nov. 1, the new Apple TV+ streaming service will be available on Fire TV devices via the Apple TV app.

Apple TV is available now on the second-generation Fire TV Stick, Fire TV Stick 4K and Fire TV Basic Edition. The app will soon arrive on Fire TV Cube, Fire TV Edition smart TVs and Nebula sound bar.

It was just a few years ago that Amazon, Apple and Google sparred over their respective streaming devices and services. Amazon pulled Apple TV and Google Chromecast devices from its online store back in 2015 because the devices didn’t work well with the Prime Video streaming service. Amazon brought them back two years later. Prime Video debuted on Apple TV in late 2017.

Google and Amazon settled a long-standing issue earlier this year, with YouTube returning to Fire TV devices more than a year after it was removed. Today, Amazon promotes YouTube heavily on Fire TV devices, a sign of the changing relationship between the companies.
