Apple has finally announced that its iPhone 12, as well as the small iPhone 12 mini. The iPhone lineup has an all-new design, 5G, new sizes, and more. Here’s everything we know about Apple’s brand new mainstream phones.
So, iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini?
Yep. The iPhone 12 is what you would expect: a device with a 6.1-inch display two cameras, and a variety of brand new colors. The iPhone 12 mini is the same phone, but with a 5.4-inch display.
How much will the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini cost?
iPhone 12 mini starts at $699, while the iPhone 12 starts at $799.

When will the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini be available?
iPhone 12 will be available for pre-order on Friday, October 16, and will ship on October 23. iPhone 12 mini, meanwhile will see pre-orders go live on November 6, and ship on November 13.

5G
Apple’s new iPhone 12 features all-new 5G technology for superfast data transfer. From Apple:

A14 processor
iPhone 12 also features the A14 Bionic processor, the fastest-chip Apple has ever put in a smartphone. It delivers 50% better performance than the next-best smartphone chip.
Display
iPhone 12 has an edge-to-edge, Super Retina XDR display, Ceramic Shield, and more.

Camera
iPhone 12 has a dual, 12MP camera with a wife and ultra-wide lens, it has up to 5x digital zoom, 2x optical zoom, Night Mode, Deep Fusion, Smart HDR 3, and more.
MagSafe
That’s right, iPhone 12 has MagSafe charging. From Apple:
MagSafe improves wireless charging for a better, more efficient experience, and introduces an ecosystem of easy-to-attach accessories that beautifully complement iPhone 12 models.7 MagSafe delivers a unique experience to iPhone, featuring an array of magnets around the wireless charging coil, optimized for alignment and efficiency, that perfectly connects to iPhone every time. MagSafe chargers efficiently provide up to 15W of power, while still accommodating existing Qi-enabled devices. Charging solutions include the MagSafe Charger and MagSafe Duo Charger for use with iPhone and Apple Watch, as well as new silicone, leather, and clear cases that easily snap onto the back of iPhone, and a leather wallet. Customers can also expect innovative MagSafe accessories from third-party manufacturers.
No charger
Like iPhone 12 Pro, Apple has removed the charger and headphones from the box of its iPhone 12 and 12 mini.
